The Lens Collective is committed to lessening our impact on the environment now and into the future. And we believe the best way we can do this is by ensuring that for every print purchased,  10 trees are planted. By planting trees together with Ecologi, we are striving to reforest the world and do our part in fighting climate change. You can check out the number of trees planted to date in the TLC Forest.

Designed to Last

Our prints are made to last. Gallery quality, archival giclee printing and custom framing designed for durability. Every one of our hand-crafted frames begin their journey in Melbourne. Hand-made to museum standard ensures your print is safeguarded for over 100 years. The frames are complemented with the use of 3mm plexiglass - a shatter-proof museum-grade glass substitute that protects your print from UV damage and fading.

Sustainably Sourced Materials.

We’re proud of every step in our manufacture and delivery and we’re always on the lookout for innovative and sustainable solutions at every step of our supply chain. We only use locally sourced FSC Certified timber, biodegradable bubble wrap and ship our frames in recycled packaging.

Our photographic paper is printed to a 300 gsm 100% cotton rag medium – a recycled by-product of the textile industry that does not use tree fibres. It has a considered lower environmental impact because no cotton is specifically grown to make the paper stock.

Supporting Local

Our conscious choice to use a workshop based in Cremorne, Melbourne supports local artists, contributes to the local economy and helps employ skilled craftspeople under fair and safe working conditions. It’s all part of our mission to nurture and encourage the talents of Australian creatives.
