Printing and Framing
We print all works on museum grade, 310gsm 100% Cotton Rag stock using genuine Epson Ultra-chrome Pro inks on the latest Epson P20070 printer.
Your giclée print will be dry mounted to an acid free 5 mm foam board using an archival adhesive film.
The Lens Collective is committed to lessening our impact on the environment now and into the future. And we believe the best way we can do this is by ensuring that for every print purchased, 10 trees are planted. By planting trees together with Ecologi <make this a link to their page>, we are striving to reforest the world and do our part in fighting climate change. You can read more on our Sustainable practices here.
The Framing Process
We believe that all photography should be protected. This is why we offer complementary framing on all orders, ensuring your print is displayed to the highest quality for many years to come.
The Lens Collective prints are proudly printed in Australia at an esteemed print house who prides themselves on the highest-quality materials and finishes.
Our timber mouldings are made from locally sourced, sustainable Tasmanian Oak. The timber is milled, hand sanded and painted.
All of our frames are shadowbox style, with the image being set back from the 3mm museum-grade plexiglass, delivering a modern gallery look.
The 3mm Plexiglas we use is museum grade. It is lighter than glass, helping to protect your work from UV damage and future fading, also having the added advantage of being shatter proof.
Your frame will be carefully hand assembled in our Melbourne studio. It will be sealed using framer’s wax tape and wired, being ready for you to hang on your wall and enjoy.
